Awesome! I have read your posts on grandprix2.de many many times. I feel like I know you well already :P
I think these days AI is helping us reverse engineer and build tools to do new things for these games so it also opens up new doors.
Myself: I just started a new season with the 1981 F1 cars ...

Re: Using Monaco (F1CT04) for a track base
I sent you a reply- Michael told me that he made this mistake once and that I should strip the vanilla internal objects first otherwise these still take up space. I didn't do that so this may just be me learning.

Using Monaco (F1CT04) for a track base
I may have made a mistake.
I started a new track (long beach 1982) using the original microprose F1CT04. Upon starting the project I removed all of Monaco's scenery and objects first, then started working on the track shape. Once I had the trackshape down, I did the pit lane and started pulling ...

Re: Experimental UV Mapper for GP2
Huh - wow. There are a ton of polygons on the gp2 cars. I know in icr2 we have made new carshapes with more polygons and it really taxes the processor usage compared to using the default carset.
Very cool thank you for posting!
I really wonder if underneath the cover Gp2 works with the same style ...

Users: Emails from the forum do not work
Users - email notifications from the site currently do not work. I did not set it up so that it will send notifications. This means if you sign up and I activate it you won't know until you log back in. I am on here multiple times a day so there will be no big delays though.
