This section exists primarily as a community continuity and preservation effort for Grand Prix 2.
grandprix2.de has served as the central hub for the GP2 community for many years, and a tremendous amount of knowledge, utilities, documentation, setups, tracks, and technical discussion has accumulated there over decades. Unfortunately, the site has become difficult to maintain and new user registrations are currently not possible due to the inability to contact the site administrator.
At the same time, the GP2 community is entering a new phase of development with projects such as Hatcher's amazing x86gp2 bringing renewed interest and technical progress to the simulation. New users, developers, and track editors need a place where discussion, collaboration, and preservation can continue openly.
The intention of this forum is not to replace the legacy GP2 community, but rather to help ensure that knowledge and resources related to Grand Prix 2 remain accessible and continue evolving into the future.
